Baby boomers in these fields are retiring in record numbers and there aren't any available professionals-or college graduates-to fill their ranks.

Companies and professional societies are getting increasingly involved in K-12 education as a means of workforce development.

Alabama BEST receives no funding from Auburn University or the state. It relies on corporate sponsors to fund this important program.
